Dr. Dharmik Patel is a Board certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He completed his post-graduate dermatology residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, focusing on complex medical dermatology in adult and pediatric patients, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic procedures and treatments.
His areas of expertise include treating skin cancers, psoriasis, acne, lupus, hair loss, rosacea, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, lichen sclerosus, and other autoinflammatory conditions requiring complex dermatologic management. He specializes in hair loss and offers his patients various scientifically proven treatments and procedures, including PRP and dermal drug delivery.
He also enjoys practicing and writing about procedural dermatology. He is well versed in the use of pulse dye laser (PDL) for treating redness, intense pulsed light (IPL) for the treatment of brown spots, hyperpigmentation, and sun-damaged skin, and ablative and non-ablative resurfacing procedures for wrinkles and sun damage. He also offers microneedling and chemical peels for treating acne, scars, melasma, and skin aging.
